Marty's Grill

This is the spot to head to if you want a good Philly! Now I haven’t tried the other main items on the menu, but this Philly is exactly what I wanted. Properly seasoned meat, sweet and savory caramelized onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, touch of jalapeño, provolone. The sandwich is just perfectly balanced and exactly what this neighborhood was missing!

I got the extra meat for $3 more which nicely packed out the sandwich in the manner I would expect a Philly. Side of crispy, wavy fries, perfectly seasoned fries and an unsweetened iced tea. I’m happier than a guy missing Philly who woke up to find himself in Philly.

I had shied away from the address ever since they closed down the Hacienda Grill. This I now sorely regret. Between the excellent food and the friendly staff, if this isn’t on your radar yet, get it on there! This is not to be missed. Just don’t forget to ask for the extra meat 👍🏾🙌🏾

Served hot and fresh right to your table. Reasonable prices for the portion. Chicken sandwich 7.99 (11.99 combo), and mushroom burger combo. Plenty of parking and clean dining area.

The atmosphere is clean, fresh, and new. The tables & chairs are comfortable for average height (5'5") people. I had the Philly Cheesesteak combo with curly fries and Pepsi and split the 4 chicken strips with my husband. The Philly was grilled to perfection, curly fries had wonderful flavor and texture, Pepsi wasn't diluted or overly sappy, and the chicken strips (massive size!) were extremely juicy & flavorful. I visited for lunch today (a Wednesday) and I think they're still working out some of their operational kinks. I went inside to place a takeout order (rather than the drive-thru) and I was there for ~25 minutes. It took ~9 minutes for four people in front of me and then me to place an order, and then I waited a further ~16 minutes for my food to come out.

And they forgot my french fries, which I only realized upon getting home. Yes, my fault for not checking the order before I left.

The food itself was pretty good though: The crispy chicken sandwich was tasty with the slaw and pickle, although I wish the chicken was a bit larger to fill out the bun. The sweet king sandwich was delectable, with perhaps just a tad more mayo than I'd prefer. And the potato wedges were hot and fresh and well-seasoned.

Pricing was completely fair and everyone was super friendly and with a good attitude!

Despite the small issues, I'll definitely be back to try more items off the menu and support a local small business. I look forward to updating this review to 5 stars in the future!

Was going to go to McDonald’s but decided to give the new local place a try and I’m happy I did. I got the bacon burger it taste way fresher than McDonald’s & curly fries were good too. I think the bacon could have been crispier but it was still good flavor. Also wish you had a burger with thousand island sauce.lol Can’t wait to try the garlic fries!
