Visited here on a rainy weeknight and the restaurant was quite full. Happy to see new restaurants in San Ramon with higher quality food doing well. Sushi was fantastic; several steps above what is available on a standard sushi restaurant in terms of taste, freshness, quality, temperature, and creativity. Starters, rolls, and wines were excellent. Cocktails and service are a little uneven but the restaurant is still in the first several weeks and management was quick to step in and make sure we had a great experience. Happy to recommend
Food is excellent. The cod melts in your mouth. The cauliflower is surprising, a little sweet, crunchy and spicy at the same time. Service is courteous. Will be coming back of course. They just need to figure out how to give tables a bit of a shade when the sun is out...
Delicious sushi provided by a business supporting a good cause. Happy hour specials are a great deal - I highly recommend the sunset roll or the 4-piece nigiri. Veggie tempura and the fried cauliflower (not on the happy hour menu) are great options for non-meat eaters. Service was attentive and the ambience is very sleek. I look forward to coming back!
My boyfriend and I went here for a nice sushi dinner and we weren't disappointed! Our server, Preson, made us feel super welcomed and gave us great personal recommendations. My favorites were the scallops and the Garden of Eden roll. Will definitely be back next time!
My wife and I went on opening night and had a great time. We made a reservation right before the dinner rush so we were seated right away, they had high chairs available for our son, and everyone seemed very passionate about their goal as a restaurant. The waitress had great recommendations, the sushi had new and interesting flavors, and all the fish was very fresh and delicious. We had our fill of sushi and had a great dessert to top it all off, and it didn't cost any more than other sushi restaurants in the area, which surprised us (since they want to be sustainable and raise fish humanely, we thought it might be much pricier). This our new favorite in the area - date night without our noisy son will be the next time we go ????
