High-end locally sourced ingredients stuffed into all forms of dumplings? On a rainy Sunday afternoon? Yes please. Had the Garlicky Green Beans, Spicy Pickled Cucumbers, Pork Gyoza, and the Seared Pork Bao. I wanted to LOVE it, ended up just liking it. Everything is so small that you barely can taste the quality fillings. The Bao was micro-bao and I ended up having to load it with chili oil for some flavor. Food arrived lukewarm and the place was pretty dead for a weekend. BUT it wasn't a loss at all, I did enjoy the food. The service was kind and attentive. Out of everything the pickles and green beans were my favorite. Id definitely suggest ordering 6-8 plates for two. Overhead for the location must be driving the prices. With Sand Harbor and other really good Dim Sum spots close by I dont know if they can stay open as things sit. Would love to see some volume added to the plate ups. Would love to see some more "value" "filler" items added to the menu. Highend cafeteria feel.

The beet coconut milk dumplings (tom yum) were by far the best dumplings we ordered. I highly recommend getting them, the mixture of the flavors and textures really brought a symmetry to the dish and kept making us wanting more. The Xiaolongbao soup dumplings were delicious by themselves & paired with the chili sauce! Lastly the Beijing noodles were the perfect addition to our meal.

First time here and with a table of 5 we were able to get a table right away without reservations before the lunch rush.

Favorites were the Shrimp Toast, Crispy Tofu Squares, and Chicken Gyoza. They were all crispy and flavorful. Loved the uniqueness of the ground shrimp on the Chinese Donut. Shrimp Toast is usually made with white bread.

The Beijing Noodles didn’t have a powerful taste. It was light. The XLB and Tom Yum Goong had a light flavored soup inside and the skin was too thick compared to places like Din Tai Fung and Dumpling 85.

The service was exceptional and I would come back to eat my favorites and try out other dishes.

My friends and I were in the area and remembered that Dumpling Time had opened recently. We figured we'd go and try the place out. It was a busy day and there was a long line. After a wait and a little mix up with our party being skipped over, we were finally seated. We ordered our food and hoped for the best!

We got the shrimp toast first. It was a chinese donut with shrimp. We thought it had very little shrimp at all. Barely tasted it so it didn't have much flavor as a whole. Next was the lobster siu mai. It had great lobster flavor, was a good size, and juicy! Then the wagyu beef gyoza came. I had high hopes for this one but I didn't feel like there was anything wagyu about the meat at all. It was dry and really needed soy sauce and vinegar to moisten it and add flavor. The chili pork dumplings came next and they were ok. The spice from the Thai chilis really carried the dish. Finally, the soup dumplings came. The regular XLB was ok. Not the best, not the worst. I was really impressed with the tom yum XLB! The coconut milk was delicious and I thought it was a refreshing take on soup dumplings!

Overall, I thought Dumpling Time was ok at best. Most of the dishes I had were fine, not great. The service also left a lot to be desired. The servers were quick to get the orders out but no one checked in on us and trying to get the check at the end took way more time and effort than needed. I can't say for certain I'd come back but definitely not impossible.

Ignore the angry "4%" people... this place is WORTH it!!!

We visited on Christmas eve and it was packed. Despite this we were seated quickly and the food came fast and fresh. We tried eight different menu items and everything was spot on. I highly recommend the shrimp toast and chili pork dumpling. The employees were working very hard and were very attentive to any needs we had as well. We left with four very happy and full bellies. Definitely recommend!!
