Oceanfront Lodge

Not bad. Good location, decently clean, friendly enough staff. Liked that the floor wasn't carpeted and pet friendly place, also appreciated that they waived the pet fee as our dog is a service dog. Only complaint would be our room was a connected room, so one night when there was guests in the next door room we could hear them very clearly.

Last night and previous day of 3 night say. Room was still superb. Used the jetted tub which relaxed my muscles from my adventures. Just heavenly.
Staff always went above and out of their way to treat me like family. Everyone here from gardener, cleaning staff and front desk staff are the nicest people.
If you have dogs you'll love this place they love dogs and the rooms have hardwood floors and tiles which is so nice for dogs and humans. Definitely a place I would stay again. Everyone in town was friendly and helpful too

I only spent one night hear but it was excellent. Gorgeous view of the beach. Slept with the windows open and sound of the waves all night. View of the infamous lighthouse at work. We had dinner here and service was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable (I note previous reviews mentioning issues with this; I think they have been replaced) - thick memory foam. The rooms were otherwise standard hotel decor. I gave 3 stars because the internet was a bit weak at times and the pool/hot tub were out of service (unclear why as staff said due to covid but most hotels now have their amenities open). If those things had been resolved, it would easily be 4 stars.
