Stubby’s Breakfast and BBQ

Excited to give it a try. Beef sandwich was small size and dipping sauce not great. Cold slaw the worst we’d ever had. Hope they pull it together, we really wanted to like it. Waiter was very nice and welcoming. $45.00 with tip was too much for that meal!

Great BBQ place in Cool, CA. If you're up to take a scenic drive from Auburn to Placerville, I definitely recommend stopping at Stubby's.

I don't do too many of these Google reviews anymore because my life is busy. But I have to tell you I just enjoyed Stubby's!!! Why? Not only was the food fantastic but the waitress I got was warm and loving. When you start getting older in life, some young people get short with their elders. This woman was amazing and made me feel very welcome during a time when I needed nourishment very badly.

I know you are here to read about the food, great food is great but if you have a bad staff you are doomed. You won't find that there from my only one experience so far, but I will be going back! Enjoy!

Stopped in this place while passing through the small town of Cool, CA. Great food! Portions were truly “adult sized” and the quality was excellent. I had the tri-tip wrap and garlic fries .

Awesome out of the way breakfast/lunch dinner spot in Cool. Several outstanding tri-tip sandwiches and burger options. Haven't had breakfast yet but we'll be back! Oh, n the onion rings are to die for!
Heard they're adding outdoor shade structure over their patio. Looking forward to it!
