    Historic lodge that was once part of the Pony Express Trail... Worth stopping in and having a drink at the bar or eat at the restaurant. Walk around it and enjoy a piece of history of the West.

    Old style lodge small bar, nice rooms, great entry, with comfortable lounge area. Great place to take a break when heading into Tahoe.

    great lodge with vintage mountain theme. Good bar, great food and place to relax. Don't need to check in for food and fun. Also shared bathrooms FOR CUSTOMERS. Like all septic in South Lake Tahoe region, its sensitive and expensive to fix.
    Only downside is the bed I had was very stiff

    We were so grateful to have such a wonderful place to stay when we were delayed on HWY 50. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful even though they were overwhelmed. It was easy to feel at home.
