One of the best places to eat in Placerville! Food is always delicious and fresh. A great standard menu with a good selection of daily specials to choose from while the ingredients to make them are still available. A must for locals and definitely a place for passers through to try if they can. The Smith Flat House is another of this owner's restaurants and is a great place to have a great dinner as well.

Every single thing we ate was amazing. 4 adults and a toddler and no one had a single complaint. Amazing burger, the potato cheese soup was fantastic. Fries were spot on. Sad we hadn't been here sooner.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The outdoor patio seating is dog friendly (enter from the side alley) and a cozy place to eat on a warm afternoon. Counter service is easy, and the owner is engaging. He remembers everyone. Names and faces. It's amazing, and really adds to that home town feel.
