    In A Nutshell:

    -Ernie's Coffee Shop is a great place to grab some good coffee & breakfast.
    -They even have loco moco, which was very tasty.
    -Their locally-sourced house coffee is pretty good too.
    -I really like the open-air layout once you walk inside.
    -Their service is top-notch, which just makes the entire dining experience well-worth a visit.

    Overall, I would definitely come back to eat here again the next time I'm in Tahoe.

    Loved this place. Reasonable prices for excellent, simple tasty food. Good service especially since they are so busy. we went here for Sunday brunch time and they were slammed! Expect to wait during busy times and remember that that is the Hallmark of a good restaurant. Return customers, and busy!

    Busy place, expect to wait awhile on weekends, but worth it. Sunrise breakfast with sweet potatoes and homemade corned beef hash are wonderful. Biscuits and country gravy are the best I've ever had!

    Wonderful and popular hometown coffee shop. Food is tasty and service is tops. Large seating area and a lot of menu choices. Daily specials and homemade soups. Love this place.
