I go here once every couple of months. I truly enjoy the show odd the chef. My favourite is the fillet steak. But every item I've tried is wonderful. Great family event.
Great food people couldn't have been nicer. We had special diet needs and they were very accommodating. Prices were very reasonable.
I remember that when I started going, more then 10 years ago, it was the place I always wanted to go eat. The food was delicious and the cooks where entertaining to watch. They kept the conversation a life the whole time they cooked. Now, how ever, they seem to have lost the reason to cook. You may count yourself lucky if you get an older gentleman too cook, because they still keep the older tradition and make the time there exciting. For example, my birthday is one week before mother's day. My family took me there, because it has been my favorite place for years, since I first went there. We had an older gentleman who made our meal a great time as he cooked. We went again yesterday, for mother's day, and the young gentleman we had, came out cooked and left. Very unsatisfying, since half of the reason we go there is for the entertainment. All in all, the food was great, as always, but I which we did not have to wait and see who is cooking to know if we will have fun while we eat. This place stood out because its unique way of cooking, but seems to lack on its uniqueness at the moment.
Japanese Kitchen's Teppanzaki is such a wonderfully entertaining and filling production. You know you are leaving full when the nice lady comes to the table and offers to go containers. A Clovis classic definitely worth a visit.
