Don't hesitate, give them a go! Ignore the 4 star or less reviews. They deserve 5 stars through & through. The food is absolutely amazing; nothing frozen like your chain restaurants. The bread will melt your heart and the sauce will make your day. Beautiful atmosphere with wonderful service (a lost art these days). You won't be disappointed. A gem for sure.

Usually this place is the absolute best. Tonight, it was not as wonderful as usual. My meal, which I have had there at least a couple of dozen times over the years, was off. It was a bit bitter. They quickly made me something else which was wonderful! Customer service is a real thing there. If you get a chance, eat there. You will ask yourself why haven't I eaten here before? We ate there for the 1st time about 30 years ago and we were hooked. Fresh made food, made the old fashioned way just like grandma must have made it. Its still family owned and operated and closed on Sundays. Rest assured, I will be back again!... and again. and again! ????

The food is great! This is real Italian food made from family recipes and loaded with tradition. The folks here are friendly and I've had top notch service every time I've eaten here. The prices are very reasonable especially when you consider the portion sizes. I havent found anything like this in the Fresno area and we come to eat here once a week.

Not really one to go right to a 5star review, so We needed to reflect on our experience, the we being my wife and I, sat on our thoughts for a day or so. But the place is a 5 star in our eyes. The friendly staff, to a REALLY hard working waiter, to the amazing food... this place is very good. We split a pizza and a soup, but the patrons around us were astonished by the portion size and flavor. So when our simple pizza arrives we jump in and are also very pleased with the quality and flavor. We ordered a medium and still took some home. Even the thin sliced French bread was amazing. I guess the only knock on the place is the horrid parking... but that seems to be the norm now with older downtown areas. And more draft beer selections. But, that's just me liking to try new brews.

It's all about the sauce and I'm not crazy about their sauce. The salad bowls are too small (the size of a small cereal bowl)for all the salad and croutons they try to fit in. Waiters did their job and the prices were family friendly. Luna has a large dedicated clientele and I'm glad they like their sauce.
