Corner Bakery Cafe

After searching for months for Lemon bars.. I Finally found this place and was so excited to eat one of theirs but the joy didn't last ((sigh)). The crust tasted like play dough and the lemon part wasn't very creamy but tasted okay. Disappointed to say the least. The staff was great though.

The first couple of times I've come here it was always for pick up and everything was good with no waiting period. Until I decided to dine in. One word AWFUL. It took 47 minutes to received my cold food. Customers that order after me got served first. The staff seemed so lost and unorganized. My meal didn't taste as good as usual. But I do notice this place has a high turnover, it seems like there is always new staff not sure why. If I go back in the future I'll stick to take out.

Great food! Wonderful service! Child friendly.menu. As LA transplants SO HAPPY to have this LA staple here...at last! Our family always voted CBC over Panera.

I think it would be a lot better if they had pagers that buzzed and everyone got their own food. Two weeks in a row and my food was served cold. Their restaurant and patio are to large to personally deliver their food and look for everyone's numbers.

2nd time there today. Excellent customer service. Good food. Highly satisfied with my experience there today. Maple Pecan Bar, yummy!

Update -
I was am sorely disappointed to hear that the Lemon Hand Pies have been discontinued. I appreciate the call I received from Randy in Fresno, CA to notify me. However it is still on the website listed as a menu item. This is false advertising. I would suggest updating your website. Advising the day to day staff personnel at your stores to make this clear, maybe even possibly a small sign in the baked goods section such as, "We're sorry for the delay in updating the website, the lemon hand pies have been discontinued. " Again very disappointed with this decision as the lemon hand pies were my favorite dessert/baked sweet item there.
