Sakanaya Japanese Restaurant

Dinner was great! Service was good! I have eaten here before a few years ago and I was not as big of a fan. They have greatly improved since then! I was really impressed. They changed their fried rice from chicken to bacon, which is honestly the best change they made! The chef was the right level of interactive. He did some of the standards, but made a couple of modifications to keep it interesting, even for people that eat teppanyaki regularly. I also had a sushi roll and it was pretty good too! All in all, we had a great time! I wish they would allow is to give half stars because I would give them a higher rating. The only real negative was that they are still a little more expensive than some of the other teppan places locally.

Delicious food and friendly chefs! Great sushi rolls too! If you want traditional Miso instead of Beef broth with your Teppanyaki you have to request it. First time we came here we were disappointed to be served beef broth as our soup.

We've gone to a few different teppanyaki restaurants and have had great experiences and good experiences. Sakanaya has always been great. Some of the food is better at different places, even though sakanaya has great tasting food. What puts them ahead of most places is the service. Every chef we have had provides amazing service. They are entertaining, fun, exciting, and giving. I can't recommend then enough. I always have a fun experience.
