    Food was good as usual. The restaurant was under staffed for Monday of Memorial Day weekend. I think we were there for 2 hours for lunch. Good food just not managed well.

    This is my go-to place. I am a fly fisherman and used to fish the Sacramento River up by Shasta and was going to Black Bear diner before they ever became a chain. The food and service are always terrific and the portions are very large. Last night I had the best meatloaf I had ever had. The only complaint was that the green beans were really too salty.

    Friendly waitress.....friends ordered a Cobb Salad, Cinnamon French Toast which were tasty.
    My order of a Baked Potato came with bacon and cheese which I ordered to leave off. Quickly corrected.
