Chimney Tree Grill

wonderful little spot, beautiful picnic tables in the redwoods. good bathroom, delicious gluten free buns, and local beef/veggie burgers. worth getting stuck behind someone going 30 mph for an hour!

Really good burgers and milkshakes. It can be too much food since all of the burgers come with both fries (a lot of them) and potato or macaroni salad. They have a nice outdoor seating area.

Amazing little stop we passed the first time we headed down Avenue of Giants. We went back because we realized we'd past the chimney tree. Decided to stop for a healthy snack. We ordered the ABLT salad. Delicious, good amount of chicken (addtl charge), bacon and avocado. We ended up going back in for a chocolate peanut butter milkshake (also delicious). Bathrooms are available as well as a swing set that was fantastic for getting some of our kids' energy out after 5 hours in the car.

Thanks to a tip from a local we stopped at this place that is just a mile in from the south entrance to the Avenue of the Giants. Otherwise we would have missed the most amazing banana milkshake and homemade burger. We’ve had a lot of burgers and this the best!!!

My family loved the food and the vibe! We sat outside on picnic tables to listen to the live music - my little girls said it looked like Camp Rock and loved the playground too. Fun family dining!
