Sunset Restaurant

We love good steaks! The ribeye is very good here. The atmosphere is probably the best in Humboldt County. The service is good and the people are friendly. This is a good husband wife getaway for a fine dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. I like to get everything from appetizers to the deserts. This is a place were you can really enjoy the food, view and each other.

Love the view from where we were seating . Servers were all friendly and our particular server was attentive. We dont have to call him for any refills , he just knows when we needed him. Their fried artichoke was lightly battered which was really good. The steelhead dish was also amazingly good. My husband ordered the beef tritip burger , it was juicy and tender good too

Location is fantastic. Great place to catch the sunset. This restaurant has a nice ambiance. Food was decisions with the exception of too much green and kalamata olives on my cauliflower stake which made it super salty. Of course for those who like lots of salt this should not be an issue. The meal was very tasty. Veggies were cooked nicely and flavorfully. Clam chowder soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. The dinner rolls were so fresh that I couldn’t help it I kept dipping them into my soup. Yummmmy...!!! Drinks were good and service was great. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Price was reasonable. We paid about $60 for a large soup, two entree, and two drinks. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again. My hat off to the chief.
