(December 2, 2019, 9:29 am)Funky little small town Mexican restaurant. I come out to Salton Sea area frequently to sell to the power plants nearby. Been here a few times over the years but it is always nice for a change of pace. Courteous service and the food is homemade deliciousness. During the chillier weather season, you must get the soup: get either the chicken or albondigas depending on what they offer for the day.

(July 9, 2019, 9:45 pm)If you are in the area headed toward slab city or salvation mountain you should definitely stop here. The best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The owners are sweet, kind and offer top notch service. Archie's was also frequented by Leonard Knight the creator of Salvation Mountain. There are some pictures of me knight as well inside the restaurant along with a progress photos of a section of the mountain. Amazing food, great service, very clean and offers a small part of history if your heading toward salvation mountain.
