Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Not busy, great service, good food, enjoyed the atmosphere. A bit pricey, but like everything else outside this restaurant, it's to be expected. It would be nice to have Happy hour in the dining area, not just the bar area.

Everything was good except for the steak. It had good flavor but man was it tough. For sure sticking to there original selections

I had two very nice dinners here, partly because the service was so warm and friendly. On the second visit I was a little surprised to find a bartender who didn't know how to make a martini--and made mine dirty, which was fine but not what I ordered. (Actually, it was pretty good, and I told her so.)

Ribs were good. The steak was decent, but not up to the same level.

The food was pretty good but pretty expensive for the amount of meat you get. I got the 2 meat combo with chopped pork, brisket, collard greens and steamed broccoli. It came with 3 pieces of brisket and a decent amount of pork, the brisket was good but had a weird texture to it and was kinda dry. The pork was delicious and probably my favorite part. Collards were alright, for whatever reason they didn't drain them so there was a bowl half full of liquid when I finished them. The broccoli still tasted raw but the cornbread muffin was very good. I would eat here again just wouldn't get the brisket again which is a bit weird to say about a BBQ place.

Although I am very disappointed that they no longer have the Loaded potatoes soup on the menu, which was my favorite thing to order. Bring it back & ill rate you 5 stars again.
