Looney Bean

I’ve been through Bishop several times and I can’t believe I didn’t stop here in the past sooner! The staff were friendly and the menu items were great. The restaurant and bathroom itself were clean. I ordered a pumpkin latte, along with a jalapeño bagel as well as avocado toast. All of it was on point. They were very busy the morning I came in, filled with locals getting their morning order before they headed off to work or school. Check them out the next time you’re in Bishop, CA. You won’t be disappointed!

Really amazing, special establishment! The food and drinks are all amazing. The reason for 4 stars is because of wait time for food. As an example from my most recent visit, the sign posted “10-15 minute wait” (which is completely reasonable), yet it took 40 minutes for my food to come out. It was only a burrito. Just a burrito! It was good, but should it take 40 minutes? I don’t think so. The worst aspect of it was that SEVERAL people who ordered AFTER me (some 20 minutes later) received their food well BEFORE I did. It seems the kitchen is struggling and needs some help. The cooks are talented and amazing but they need to be more fair and efficient in their process.

Good selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere. Cashier made a mistake and gave me wrong drink and they fixed it with no issues. It's always a pleasure to have good service. I recommend if your in town stopping by and trying them.

Seriously good huevos rancheros!! I would recommend ordering an extra egg or two with it if you want some more protein as there are no beans.

Everyone is super friendly! The prices are fairly decent. Vanilla chai is one of the best I’ve ever gotten from a small independent coffee house. The almond croissant is amazing!!!
