Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

I first tried Cafe Rio while working out of state so I was so excited when they finally brought them to the west coast. Great food with a consistent quality. The horchata and mint limeade are great complements to any meal.

Food is very good for fast fare. The staff is quick and the lines go away rapidly due to a well ordered prep line. Food is good. Four star because it isn’t super flavorful (but again this is a Chipotle level competitor not Bobby Flay). Would be five stars except the front of the restaurant has considerable cobwebs and drink area counter could be cleaner. Everything else is good experience however.

Food is so delicious I been here twice and I've had their grilled chicken salad and green sauce enchiladas it's quick and very tasty also filling.

Food was awesome, service was fast courteous and exceptional! Dining area, kitchen, and even the bathrooms are clean! Definitely would go back here again!

I've been to several Cafe Rio restaurants over the years: A few in Utah (Provo/St. George), a few in Orange County, CA (Irvine, Tustin, Newport Beach) and two in Sacramento area. Since moving to Bakersfield this has been my favorite above all. The service is always great, the portion sizes are loaded up and never scant, and the quality is very consistent and delicious. The dining area is well thought out and easy to have large groups with friends (meaning tables can be pushed together and not bolted to the floor). I frequent this location mostly every Tuesday with friends for the past year and have been highly satisfied.
