Visiting Bakersfield for work training. Wanted a nice local, country brunch style place for lunch. After searching google, and reading the rave reviews, I was sure I had found the place. Big portions, homey atmosphere, great prices. I cant be mad
I've been eating at the Knotty Pine since the 80's. The food is always good, service is ways quick and the portions are more than generous. The only drawback to having a meal at The Knotty Pine is because everyone knows how great the food is there's usually a wait but the wait is well worth it
I've been looking for a nice Family Cafe in the Bakersfield area like this one. They staff is very kind and friendly they make you feel at home. They have a wide variety of menu items to choose from I ordered the eggs Benedict it was very delicious I ordered them with a side of country potatoes they were also very delicious I will be definitely going back to this cafe go and check them out you will not be disappointed you will definitely want to return.
Been going here for years!! Great friendly waitresses, great food, not bad prices. Nice cozy place, great decorations all over the walls. There's usually a wait for breakfast on the weekends depending what time you get there & there isn't much parking either. Mine & my husband's only complaint is they don't have flavored creamer.
We happened upon this place off 99 and wow what a lovely place to land. The staff couldn't possibly be nicer, the food was really delicious. The corned beef hash with the country potatoes was great. The peppers in the potatoes were crisp and tasty, well cut, not soggy, colorless, flabby. The place is stuffed with kitschy but charming *stuff*. The biscuit was yummy. The old poor bit of the food experience was the coffee, oddly enough terrible! To me, I don't care too much about that. We just loved the service we received and the absolutely delicious food. Thank you for our very loving treatment!
