Garrison's Seafood Express

A hidden gem in the south west of Bakersfield. If your craving for fish and chips, this is the spot. Ordered the family special which consist of beer battered cod, chips, hush puppies, shrimp, coleslaw and a side order of their calamari... everything was "Delicious"!!! Good size fish with a very tasteful batter. Portion was very generous and plentiful. So if you want to try something different than "Mossman's", give this spot a try

I have eaten at Garrison's twice. Had the fried shrimp basket the first time and the fried catfish basket today. Both were delicious. They were prepared to order and delivered to the table fresh and piping hot. Almost as good as the down home seafood I get back home in Florida ????

Great new spot first time there was delicious and clean and real friendly service. Had the cod with fries and they were really good. Would definately recommend for seafood lovers..

I just had a delicious cod and chips lunch at this delightful new establishment. I had the one piece cod w/steak fries for 6$, and a side of coleslaw for 3$. I was so impressed with the taste and quality of the food. Even more impressive, the polite and professional young man who waited on us, Garrison. Please give this business a try, you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely love this place. Portions are good with the exception of the coleslaw. Could use a bit more. Now it's been a while since I've been there, going to try it today. The place is clean, staff is nice and the location is accessible.
