    Friendly service. Great food. Not too crowded at 9:00am on a Saturday.

    I got the French dip. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The meat had a good flavor and the fries were.good, but the French bread was old and crumbled in my hands before being able to eat it. The most disappointing part was that I got 2 thin peices of meat. What I did was get the meat from one half of the sandwich and placed it on the other half. I probably won't be back here again.

    Great mom & pop place in Bakersfield close to the freeway. We shared a beef dip sandwich. Service was excellent too.

    Just good old country kitchen type. Food like it's home made. Service was so nice. If you're driving 99 north or south in Bakersfield, I would stop there for breakfast. Sometimes good service makes food taste better. Not the case here. Both are really good.
