Ruben's Mexican and Seafood Restauant

SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! Sad I waited so long to try it. The chilli verde melts in your mouth. Chicken is great and the carnitas are delicious.

The best chili Colorado ????and nice and spicy. Buffett on Sundays, awesome and of course good and friendly service.

Was a little disappointed today, My food was luck warm and the service was not up to parr, The waiters was over whelm do to the lack of help. I enjoy Ruben Mexican Restaurant , I've been one of his followers when he was on Union Ave ,Then moved down town on Chester, He moved to Rosedale, Was so glad he came back to East Bakersfield. Will give it another try. Sunday was a bit busy, Mr.Ruben was making sure all went well but as soon as he left Sunday after 2.30 the staff lack in serves.

I've already reviewed the Gosford location (5 star rating as well) and praised them for their great lunch specials, delicious food, and great service. This location is no different. I work near the other location and always like going there for lunch when it's more of a special occasion. I was excited to learn of this location after moving to this area of town a few months ago and finally had dinner there Friday night. I was pleased to find the same great atmosphere, and friendly staff, and great service I've come to know at Ruben's. And the Enchiladas Del Mar were on point, I highly recommend them, other menu items, and any of the Ruben's locations.

This place is great! The food is outstanding, the service was great and I highly recommend this restaurant. A friend and I decided to check the place out and I really enjoyed my visit here! I met the manager Andy, what a nice guy! I just had to complement him on what a great job he was doing! The staff and servers were on point and they backed each other up and I never had to ask for a refill on my drink. The drinks were EXCELLENT! They have a nice little bar tucked away in the corner. The place was super clean and did I mention the food? Tried the fish here and it was great, I really don't even care for fish but had to try it to see! Come on down and get some great food and service!
