Love Cafe Smitten! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Coffee and tea selections are abundant and the staff are always kind and helpful. If you like unique breakfast foods, then definitely check it out. I haven't had lunch or dinner their yet.

Clean, tidy, and open. Great for a quick bite to go or for a quick catch up with an old friend. Staff are all super lovely and hospitable. Portion sizes can be deceiving, but very filling. Quality of food and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

The food is always great, staff is always friendly. Only gave it a 4 because its always a struggle to find seating and they allow dogs in the restaurant. Was kinda annoyed that I had a dog next to me scratching himself while I'm enjoying breakfast. Nevertheless, I'm sure that experience was only mine and if you go maybe there wont be a dog there. Maybe you love dogs? Hopefully you aren't allergic to animals like me. Lol. Give them a try!

Smitten should now be know for dinner. My companions and I sampled several items on the dinner menu. Sharing each dish... it was a magical evening of some the finest cuisine BAKERSFIELD has to offer. Every dish literally was perfect. My favorites: the fries ( I am not a French fry lover but will be back for these) the quinoa dish, the salad, the lamb (I am also not a big meat eater but wow!). The sauces are amazing. This is a must try dinner spot.
I have been to this location several times for breakfast/ coffee and tea and am never disappointed.
