Awesome experience. Jeanette Harris, her brother Michael the drummer performed excellent. Tom Brown was outstanding. Jeannette, Michael, Tom, thank you all for a wonderful evening at the Tower on 10/4/2019.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was decent. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because the environment was beautiful and definitely noteworthy, it greatly overshadows the food. The best word I could use for the menu after seeing the inside of the restaurant is, underwhelming. I expected a much more extensive, unique variety of of options and of a better quality. The menu felt haphazardly put together. Unfortunately, this is just not what I expected.
I've only been here for lunch but it's a unique atmosphere since the restaurant used to be a church. The lunch menu is good; lighter food options like salads and sandwiches and the tomato bisque soup, which is good. Definitely underappreciated in Bakersfield, I think--you never hear anyone talk about the place but it's worth a visit.
The ambiance here is amazing. It's an old church that was turned into a nice restaurant. This place is great for lunch and business meeting. I've also had dinner here, which was good as well. I bring a lot of clients here for business lunches and it never disappoints. The Chicken Caesar and Rancher Steak are my favorite items on the menu. The service is good but it can get really busy for lunch. So, expect a little wait to get your food if it's a busy day at the restaurant.
Came here for lunch they had good selection and a very friendly staff. The building itself was beautiful. Great place for lunch. I need to come back in the evening.
