I really enjoyed my experience here. I came during Sunday buffet. There's a great assortment plenty of vegetarian options, chicken, goat and shrimp dishes. $15 includes the buffet, table nann and a drink. The chai was delicious and our server was so kind and helpful. 5 star experience all around. Best Indian food in Bakersfield.

A lot of North Indian establishments across Bakersfield lack flavor, balance, and atmosphere. At Viceroy, there is an upscale feel thanks to the dark decor with light accents throughout. The food is a semi-modern approach to North Indian cuisine and really stands on its own. The buffet option is excellent value as is most of the food on the menu. There is a good selection of draft beer on tap, champagne, and also a wine list worth your consideration. This is somewhat still a new place and as such, the staff are still finding their feet. This means that you may find some delay in your food, however, this is nothing to worry about as the staff are friendly and do make up for their mistakes very quickly.

Very nice place with great food. General Manager came by and had a nice chat with us. Mango Mule was great too!
