    The shakes are the best anywhere. The food was good too. I ordered prime rib, it was done as requested. Will definitely be coming back

    Clean. Cozy in a booth. Food was good. Price was fair. A bit too smokey inside for my eyes. I want to try their milkshakes because I heard they are very good.

    The service here is 1st class, fast seating, waitperson on the spot, drink orders and menus rite away. The menu is very extensive, has daily specials and reasonable pricing. The food has always been excellent (I have eaten here many times),the staff is always attentive and helpful, and if your lucky you may get to talk to the owner. There is lots of Kern River Valley history on the walls, and the employees can add to that if you are interested.
