Classic American food. The food is alway good, very dependable, if you’re into having your food be consistently flavored then this is the place for you. Home cooking at its best.

The girls that day on Sunday 7/7/2019 were great they were able 2 adjust my bill for my military discount I like the inside it was very clean and the menu was great good prices and yummy food the only thing I didn't get was when I looked @ it from the outside I didn't know it was a restaurant and I drove by it but a good friend told me that it was a pleasant place 2 eat, & the food is great I'm from San Diego so if you ever go through Taft stop over & give the restaurant a gander.

Overall I'd say it was average. The teriyaki chicken was very good. The baked potato was okay. Could have been cooked a bit more. My husband's mashed potatoes were better. His chicken fried steak was pretty good. My Pepsi was flat. No bubbles at all. The bread roll was the sweet Hawaiian kind you buy at the store. We had to go ask when we wanted a drink refill or our check. The 50s music was loud and annoying-probably meant to provide atmosphere. Cost was 40 bucks.
