“About 2pm, Monday: after lunch time, so the restaurant was nearly empty. Had charred brisket, which was tender, juicy, and delicious. Sides of cabbage slaw, pretty good, and mac and cheese, flavorless. Would I go back? Absolutely, just wouldn't order mac and cheese. Great value; great service. Could hardly finish the brisket. The barbecue sauce was also very tasty.”

“Mall location. AMAZING cocktails. If you want a real surprise order the Mango blended drink with chamoy. It has a really long name. They forgot our food and we were late to our movie. We said we were going to a movie when we sat down. We almost cancelled the order, but they managed to prepare it as we were needing to leave. Ate quickly and didn't finish food. The Mexican shrimp cocktail was warm in temp. and not spicy. No hot sauce near by. The bartender was kinda slow on drinks, and forgot our order? Or the kitchen was busy doing side work? Great drinks, bad food service. This was during the day. Not busy. That's not why the food was delayed. I find service tends to be slower when it's not busy in a place, but 40+ minutes for apps? As we were leaving we saw people eating that had just been seated.”

“The lime was long, but still moved fast. I got two separate orders, one with two Caramel frappes and one mocha frappe. The second order was a small fry and 6 piece nugget. I normally don't like the fries, but they were fresh and better than any I've had from here before. The nuggets were crisp and crunchy. The coffee was blended perfectly and topped with just the right amount of whip cream and caramel.”

“First time last night at Tacos El Grullo, and I gotta say I’m impressed with their customer service. The cashier linda (has to ask for a name ) was so upbeat and positive. Very attentive to my needs, she gave me great suggestions when I was unsure on what to order. The carrots are the best I’ve ever tried at any Mexican restaurant. I ordered my meal and the staff gives you a digital number to let you know your food is ready. To my surprise it went off vibrating and I couldn't get up due to I had surgery and unable to get my tray. I looked over at the employee and knotted to him I couldn't get up due to my cast. If you have a preference on the condiments that you like on your burger such as, mayonaise mustard, ketchup etc. then you should let them know. I believe it was like a thousand island dressing type of spread that they used on it. I don't usually like that, but it was actually pretty good. Fat crispy fries, yummmmm!!”

“I Love their chicken fries with honey BBQ sauce.. Small complains, they are very spotty with most things.. some days they give you the whole chicken and others it seems like they only give you one strip.. they poor the sauce over the top of the fries and chicken and it's either the perfect amount or drowning in it.. Military Discount is another really spotty one, my first few times being there they gave it to me no problem but every now and then they clam you have to be in uniform.. this is my local favorite place to go for chicken, yes better than the Colonel..”
