It seems like they are still trying to figure things out. Not sure why the menu references all types of meat (pollo, carne, and carnitas) as carne. The carnitas are basically pulled pork with no recipe . The pollo is great though. I'm guessing the chef is not familiar with authentic Mexican dishes (or basic California Mexican) . Gas station type barritos with rice and beans.But the quality of food is good and it can only get better. A quick Google of recipes or visits to a few restaurants can improve this place a lot. It's the best Mexican restaurant in Kelseyville!!!!

This was our first time eating at the Cocina. The out door seating was nice, 4 tables a safe distance apart. They disinfect each table after every client and the hostess wore a mask.

We sat outside for ten minutes with no service, a server cleaned the table next to us and didn’t mention that we need to go inside to order.

The cashier was fairly disinterested in us when we eventually wandered inside. The food was just ok. The meat in the carnitas tacos was tasty but the crunchy taco shells weren’t crunchy. The salsa was just ok, the spicy salsa tasted like spicy ketchup and wasn’t very good.

Not the best nor the worst, a solid 3 star rating.

Very nice, comfortable, family atmosphere. Friendly employees, good, reasonably priced food. The super burrito is huge!! My only complaint is their drink prices are too high, in my opinion. Other than that, nice addition to Kelseyville! I hope they do well.
