Haven't been in over a decade. (Was closed, and someone just reopened it)
Ate at Andy's and not much to talk about. Price was ok but food was Meh. Got the ribeye, came out "grey" bit cooked medium. Covered in dry parsley...why? Mashed potatoes had more sour cream than potatoes. My buddy got the burger. It looked good, he said it tasted good. Wife got the salmon and it was good.

Hope they do something about the decor and food presentation. Everything was right out of the 90s.

Service was good though. They stayed on top of the drinks. Made sure we didn't run out of water.

I'll give it another shot and see how it is

This was our first visit and I can say this will be our new vacation place!! The staff was amazing, especially Lydia! She was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We did check in early and we had to wait a bit but she did everything possible to get us ik early. All of the staff including the restaurant was very professional and helpful!! So glad we have found such a wonderful place to enjoy peaceful, quality family time

So, it feels like the new owners have pushed it open too soon. The rooms were remodeled, with new furniture. The bathroom had a new sink and mirror, but the same old weird 70s / 80s shower. And the shower door blocked access to the towels. In the suite, there were two new split AC units, but the vents and thermostat for the old system were left in place. My mother-in-law couldn't figure out how to operate it. Also, the toilet was a 70s antique, and NOTHING in the kitchen was remodeled. One entire block of rooms had no outside lights at night. There were places where the old walkways and safety railings had been removed and never replaced.

There are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk. You have to use cell phones to call the main line, which went down at least once while we were there.

Power went out twice, for four hours at a time. While this is a PG&E issue, not a hotel issue, they had no backup power, and no emergency lighting, so we had no AC while it was 100°, and it was pitch black in the hotel room.

It just feels like they pushed open too soon, before all of the needed remodeling was complete. It feels like it's a weird mixture of really nice, and old and funky.

The hotel had been closed for 15 years. Now the owner is trying hard to make this place attractive again. Still, a lot to do. It feels a little bit overpriced since the property is very old. There is a specific smell in the rooms, like old moldy 50-year-old wood. Paper-thin walls. Some areas are closed because they haven’t been upgraded yet. The furniture has been recently upgraded partially. Mattresses and pillows are good. People at the reception desk are nice and helpful. Everybody is friendly at the store and restaurant. I wish this place good luck!
