Nakara Japanese Restaurant

Stopped by this place unplanned on a Wednesday at 5pm. Had the Dragon Roll and miso soup. Food was great. Service was great. I dined on the outdoor patio and found the traffic noise annoying so minus one star. I would visit again but probably dine indoors.

Only Japanese restaurant in Lake county. I hope they can thrive here!

Had a wonderful lunch ! Excellant service, charming feel. They transformed the former building into a very rustic Japanese setting. They didn't hold to just Japanese items, I had a very nice Pho. My Wife ordered a beautiful Bento Box. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is I always think you should keep shooting for the stars. We will be back !!!

Phenomenal place in Lakeport! It's nice to finally have a Japanese restaurant in Lake County! The deep fried Salmon Roll is my new favorite! The butterflied Shrimp 🍤 were so tasty, and the Dragon Roll was yummy as well. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good. Emily our server was super helpful and enthusiastic.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today at Nakara's! The sushi had VERY fresh ingredients served with tasty sauces. The staff was attentive and friendly. Happy to have a good Japanese resturant in Lake County.

When I heard a new restaurant opened up here in Lake county, and it was Japanese cuisine I was thrilled! We went here with a small group for lunch, and from what I understand at the moment it's reservation only? You should call before going to be sure, but we were seated promptly and our server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, no issues with cleaniness, and pricing is fair. If I have any critique, their food options are limited but what they're offering is delicious and I can understand that being a new place it might be smart to keep it simple until things are more established. I'd love if they added udon or sushi at some point! Whatever they decide to do it's great they're around and I definitely recommend them!
