good taste for real Malaxiangguo!
Love it! My friends and I go there 2-3 times a month!
good place
Not bad but nothing spectacular. You can add ingredients to some dishes, so we ordered dry thick noodles(which had just the right amount of chewiness, delicious!), ghost peppers, veggies, beef, fish, hot spicy "ma la" sesame oils, and black wood ear shrooms. it was the tastiest dish we had, but 5-7 bucks too much. The rest of the dishes were average.
This restaurants at location have had a tough time surviving, and with the pervasive Szechuan style spots all over SGV, this 餐廳 should focus on marketing and perfecting their noodles to entice more costumers. The ambiance is sterile (left over from the previous chicken waffle joint), but minor changes in the interior (chairs for instance) and more a authentic, home style, "slightly grimy" environment could add some stars to their reviews.
Running restaurants is tough, so I like to end by saying "try it for yourself", 'cause it's just like, my opinion, man.
