Food really good here and the service is excellent. And they treat you like family.

The owner Betty is always here trying her hardest. Having a restaurant for 30 years in Alhambra that has stayed small but is as good as this one is rarity. I recommend the macadamia nut pancakes as a must try for first timers. Service can be slow and it gets crazy-busy on weekends. But it's so good it'll keep you coming back.

Small place that gets busy but wait is not too crazy. The service was good and casual. Got our food promptly. The Misubi was especially quick and really tasty. One of the best spam Misubis I've tried. The macadamia pancakes are a must try and their most unique and tasty dishes. The gravy and pork also stood out to me. Fully enjoyed our meal.

I was invited here for lunch by my co-worker. I was pleasantly surprised of the food we had. First, there is breakfast served all day. There was Macadamia pancake but I just could not skip. I'm glad I tried it because it was amazing! The owner was very pleasant. She suggested to share the food like family style. This place has been in business since 19 84. That tells you something! I will definitely go back to this place for Hawaiian food. I say you go and try it, you will not be sorry!

Despite the long wait to go in the food is actually pretty good. I personally recommend the fried rice and order it extra crispy. They have lots of savory options to add.

I recently went and ordered the Hawaiian breakfast and got a long island ice tea. The gravy was tasty and long island was strong! Next time i want to try the macadamia pancakes.
