Melt-in-your-mouth delicious and beautifully plated sashimi (orchids people)! Fresh wasabi, pickled onions and microgreens for Pete's sake! Thank you, chef! Yummy fried ice cream. Reasonable prices. Mon-Thurs beer and sake are $3 each. Polite, courteous, and attentive staff. Cosy lighting and island decor. You feel like you're on vacation somewhere tropical. Perfect for a date, a meeting or a birthday celebration.
Delicious food Great Happy hour one of my favorite places to grab sushi and a drink!
Overall a good little comfy spot, not a five star restaurant if that is what you are looking for but a nice comfy place to have a bite with the family or friends. Food is good and vibe is okay. Service can be slightly slow but it varies cause it can get pretty busy at times. Pricing is fair for the quality and amount of food. Parking is fairly easy to find all around the area.
The place is cute and cozy. I was seated within 20 minutes, no questions asked.
Their menu is easy to read. They offer water in case you are waiting to choose a different type of beverage.
Their food choices are delectable and pictures are attached to their names. This makes it easier to pick and choose what you would like to try. Their menu also explains what ingredients each plate has.
I hadn't been here in a long time, but noticed that management had changed. I would return again for a casual dinner and meet-up with friends. The plus part is that they are across the street from the AMC in Alhambra. Easy location, plenty of parking!
What a great spot to enjoy dinner with coworkers! Came here with two of my coworkers and we were all pleasantly surprised how big the portions are here. Each cut of fish was generously cut unlike other sushi spots. Their rice was also cooked well and it wasn't too dry or too wet. I only wish they had happy hour here for food and just for drinks but I'd totally come back regardless. Also, their employee Nathan is incredibly helpful and amazing host and so was our server. Very friendly atmosphere with great employees so you must try it if you're in the area. It gets packed at night so come early! You won't be disappointed with the food and the service. Plus, it's right by some bars and a theater so you won't need to drive far for dessert or any type of events!
