Good variety and tasty dim sum (we were visiting from San Francisco area), but very long wait for 11 people on this busy Saturday noon hr. Will consider returning at some point.

*Just remembered. Apparently all dim sum items are uniformly charged at the more (most?) expensive category on weekends as opposed to charging items at their respective categories.

Their dishes taste pretty good and fairly priced. All waiters are much nicer than other typical Chinese restaurant waiters.

Price is reasonable but the quality is average. They are better dim sum places in the neighborhood.

Food was good. Went late afternoon night so seating was not as issue. Food came out hot and correct order. No complaints here.

Top Island is a popular restaurant in the local Cantonese community for delicious, authentic seafood in the Guangzhou style. A very large restaurant, Top Island is nearly always packed with large family groups dining throughout the evening. In the mornings they offer dim sum, and by the evenings, seafood. Tanks display a variety of fish, crabs and lobster, as well as specialties including geoduck. In addition to seafood, they offer other Cantonese cuisine and a selection of well prepared vegetables. As an appetizer of sorts, fresh, hot in-house baked pineapple stuffed buns are brought to your table once you have placed your order. They serve a delicious sweet red bean soup for dessert. Prices are moderate to expensive. The only negative, is the gauntlet of middle aged and older men smoking like trains right outside the doors to the restaurant.. despite bilingual signs clearly asking people not to. The managers could do more to discourage that.
