Pepper Lunch Alhambra

We love Pepper Lunch in Japan, and we came to L.A. to see if this one would be good. It is just as delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with the Original Pepper beef!

It's a newer hip/trendy restaurant that opened in Downtown Alhambra. There's iPad at the front door if you like to pay using credit card. Or you can opt for line and cashier.
The food is OK (some might think it's good but I had better so.....) and the speed the food is served to your table was very fast. BEWARE HOT PLATE!!!
However, the price to me is on higher side based on the tastiness of the food. The service and the level of attentiveness was amazing though.
Overall, I probably will come back if my friends suggest to come here for the service and the clean environment.

The same taste and flavor I remember having while traveling in Asia. So happy that they brought here to the US and in the Los Angeles Area. Service is fast, unlike the wait. You mind find yourself going somewhere else if you’re not willing to wait. Not the place to hangout with your family and friends. In true modern Japanese fashion, you order from an electronic kiosk.

Super fun time with my girlfriend and my co worker. The concept is great and I love how simple yet tasty the food is. It cooks so fast that the line moves quickly so don't let the line stop from trying it. High quality meat, fresh veggies and great atmosphere. There was ample seating, restrooms in the back were clean and overall nice restaurant.

Good concept and excellent execution. The food came fast and had plenty of flavor. Be careful though, the plate is hot I would recommend everything on the menu, you can't go wrong! The pepper is really their staple.
