Musubi Hawaiian BBQ

I been here twice and I love the teriyaki chicken rice is good and the macaroni salad is very tasty,Very nice customer service also,today I tried the chicken chow mein it was good but could have less salt and some onions. Prices are GREAT AND PORTIONS .I'M A ONION AND GARLIC FREAK..

It's pretty much the same staff and layout as when it was Golden Fried Chicken. Only real difference is that they've changed the menu to be more Hawaiian style food, which I welcome since we don't really have one in this area anymore. I tried several of their musubis including the regular spam one and the beef one. I thought they tasted pretty good, though I wish it was $2 not $2.50, since that's a little pricey for one musubi. In any case, I'll be sure to try more things on the menu. One tip: you can go to their website and order online, which is nice if you're just taking it to go.

I just enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner at Alhambra’s newest Hawaiian restaurant, Musubi Hawaiian BBQ located on Fremont Ave at the 10 fwy. I ordered the Spicy Garlic Chicken and was NOT disappointed!! They stir fry their entrees to order as evidenced by the wonderful fresh garlic smell coming from the kitchen. The entrees are served Hawaiian style with rice and potato macaroni salad. The entrees are also Hawaiian style in that they are very large portions, very satisfying. BUT, for me, the real find at Musubi Hawaiian BBQ was the Grilled Salmon Musubi, you read that right, Grilled Salmon Musubi. For those of you who enjoy Spam Musubi but sometimes find it a bit on the salty side, the Grilled Salmon Musubi is the perfect cure. Can hardly wait to try some of the other dishes on their menu, such as their combination plates that come with the usual rice and Macaroni salad plus veggies.
