El Pastorcito Taco II

Place was on Santa Anita when I tried it, but may move around a bit.

Really good tacos, salsa and service. I judge many places by their salsas and they have some great options. The green guac salsa has a nice kick and was great on everything. They also have a red spicy one which is tasty as well. Might have been a third type, but liked those two so much didn’t even taste the third.

Picked up four tacos after a round of golf. Al pastor is fire. Served right off the trompo with really great flavor. Asada and buche were also good, but nothing unique here. The surprise was the lengua. They serve the lengua in long thick prices for their tacos and it works. You can taste all the flavors this way vs chopped in tiny bits like most places.

With the trip just for the Al pastor and lengua. They also have some other unusual dishes for a truck, like wings and the Alhambra looks amazing.

This must be the second truck since it has the number two after the name. I’ve never been to the first one. This is located right in front of Alex Di Peppe’s Restaurant on the street. What is really interesting is the large slices of lengua on my taco but it’s really tender. Tacos are $2 each.
