Had a really awesome lunch here, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful I love the big windows and vibe of the restaurant. Very cool decor! Servers were very friendly as well. ☺️

Just to note, I eat a lot of Mexican food and I'm from southern California, specifically San Diego. The food was decent. I had the panela chicken, my GF got the carne asada burrito.

We ended up getting the "locally famous cazuela" cocktail which was meh. Tasted more like squirt soda than anything else. It's enough for 3 people just as an FYI.

We went in January during the slow season where everything is pretty much shutdown or not opening again until February. The vibe is nice. Very classic Mexican restaurant with good music. The staff was friendly and nice.

Some small things that did bother me though is that their cocktail menus had no prices. They charge extra if you decide to share a dish. They even charge if you don't finish all your food and need a to go box. I'm used to going to Mexican restaurants where their chips and salsa are free and they charge $5 for that as well. Also, if you're not used to Catalina Island, they also charge for water.

Overall, all the extra charges were off putting which makes me not want to go back. However, if you're in a pinch, you can get a decent meal.

What a nice attentive staff. Pretty, authentic, tasteful Mexican motif. The food was delicious. Great place to stop in Avalon!

Shrimp was delicious, cheese appetizer was interesting, margaritas didn't taste like they had tequila in them, and our bill was outrageous (we didn't get a detailed receipt to know why). Location off of ferry and decent views. Service wasn't terrible. I'm glad we checked it out, but I wouldn't love to return, though.
