Gen Korean BBQ House

It was the weekend so dinner prices only, just a heads up. The meat was amazing. They did not have as many thinly sliced meat as I would have liked. They had very few appetizers which is disappointing. Our server was very nice and quick, he checked on us many times. The environment was welcoming and the bathrooms were nice and clean. I have been to better KBBQs but this is still one of the best.

Boss took us for lunch. Looks very trendy with all the lighting. Takes a long time to get time soup. Large selection of meat and someone is always asking if you need more. Was $18 per person fir lunch and is $22 for dinner which I think is very reasonable for all the meat I put away.

Came in here yesterday, and did the Yelp waiting thing and said to check in at 2:51pm. I got there and did check in at 2:50pm, I was told I should get a text when table was ready, got a text at 2:59pm and it said I had 10 min to check in, I walked up at 3:04 heard them call my name and took me maybe 20 seconds to get to the front host. Told the host I was checking in a she said they had 2 parties in front of me, I told her they called my name 20 seconds ago and she said I took too long rudely. Girl was wearing a sweater covering her name tag so it was hard to get a name. Pretty much the 3 start is based on her poor customer service skills as she could have reacted to the situation much different. Other than that servers inside did a amazing job checking on us and getting everything we needed.

First impressions are lasting and even before the meats were brought to the table the environment and staff had me say out loud my family "I'll be returning"! The food was the best cuts, everything was fresh, they were very attentive, and friendly. On a busy night the day after Christmas they could have been any other way still they showed their best faces and continued the joy of the season. Visit and Enjoy ????????

Our first experience was great. Waited 20 minutes on a Saturday at 8pm. Smart and fast service. This time was almost the exact opposite. Waited an hour and a half on a Sunday at 6pm. The service was fast, but we had to remind one of our 3 waiters a few times for a refill on a water. The food was amazing. Just wish the service was a little better.
