Party time at Josephine's
I was lucky enough to be invited to a 70th birthday party for one of my mom's friends. Never reticent to the opportunity for free food and not having dined at Josephine's before, I looked forward to the birthday celebration.
The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with a more intimate setting reserved for the party in the rear. A dance floor & DJ provided the evening's entertainment.
Guests were treated to a buffet of various Filipino dishes. My favorite of the night was the sweet & sour fish.
Overall, the party went off without a hitch, at least from my point of view, and staff at Josephine's were very accommodating.
Parking is via a private lot at Plaza 183. Josephine's is located in front Original Thai BBQ & left of Dairy Queen.
Josephine's provided a wonderful atmosphere for this momentous occasion. The food was delicious, and the dancing allowed for some calorie-burning exercise after feasting. When looking for a banquet hall for an upcoming event, I wouldn't overlook Josephine's as an option.
Good Filipino food. Great bands. Good sound system. Fun place to go dancing.
We met friends here for a quick dinner. The atmosphere was festive and the servers were super attentive. The presentation of the food was thoughtful and well done. The food was very tasty and wasn't oily or greasy as sometimes can be the case. It is standard Filipino food, but done a bit upscale. The restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was very relaxing. We had the crispy pata and it was a large portion for the price. The chicken skewers we're also very good. We met Claire, who is one of the owners, and she is so wonderful and nice. She will make sure you are well taken care of and have a wonderful experience.
For Filipino food and night entertainment in LA area this is the place. This is the second time our group has gone here. Lots of parking that you don't have to worry about being towed! Great crispy para and pansit. Dancing, dancing
