Polly's Pies Restaurant & Bakery

Oldie but goodie ... Hadn't been to this restaurant in years, for no particular reason.
Recently went back with my mom and my son. It was exactly what we were craving, good home-cooked comfort food. I got their chicken pot pie, and have continued to order it the last two times I've gone. It's on the value menu you get a slice of pie with it ???????? we always get the same waiter, and he's a pleasure, a gentleman with great customer service. Wish I could think of his name right now ???? This continues to be my 3 year old & my favorite little getaway !!! Great value for GOOD food !!!

I love their Turkey Burger Supreme. I substitute a Veggie patty and remove the cheese. The zucchini, grilled onions, dressing, the wheat bun... yummy! I also order the Polly Palmer with no ice (it's already cold). It's strawberry lemonade and iced tea. So good, especially when they use more of the strawberry syrup, and fresh strawberries. Mom had a cup of chili (w/cornbread) and half a grilled cheese sandwich. She really enjoyed it.

If your looking for some homemade Pies and some good food, then go here. Every season they have a different lineup of pies. When they serve you a slice of pie and you'll get some ice cream too so take advantage. I've tried most of the meals, the country fried steak is one of my favorites. The pancake breakfast is good as well, but you do have to try their chicken pot pie. It's in the city of Norwalk and a nice area and there's also other stores. Since you're going to be full from eating you might as well Walk It Off????
