D'Vine Express

Visited Cerritos Towne Center and saw this new restaurant in the food court. I have visited the Dvine restaurants in Fullerton and Brea couple of times and thought I will check this out. Had a lunch plate it came with rice and a cold mezza. The price was ok at $14 with a Pita and salad and rice. The food was ok. The babagounsh was very well done and the pita was soft. The rice and kebabs were tad dry. The place had their drink machine broken down so no water or fountain drinks. Settled for a soda. The service was good and the person manning thr counter was prompt. Would have give 4 stars except for the broken fountain and no water.

It's always a good gastronomic experience for me in this place. The beef shawarma that I like to order is always tender and flavorful. The rice is cooked just right (not mushy nor dry) with a flavor that will definitely complement any meat they serve. The serving portions of the sides, rice, and meat are more than enough for a full meal. The staffs/cooks I have encountered, in all of my visits, are all polite and efficient. Although I have never seen the same staff/cook in all four occasions that I have visited the place, they are all consistent in the way they cook and present the meals. The food is correctly priced for an express mediterranean meal and definitely a place worthtrying.

An advise to consider, eat the food, especially the beef, inside the restaurant rather than al fresco since Cerritos Town Center can be windy most of the time.

Food is very delicious which served with small portions thou. The cashier wasn’t wearing a mask when I approached but when he put it on, he didn’t smile when I greeted him. Anyway, he was pretty helpful in a way but will I come back? Probably not. I’d rather go to the one across the street from Cerritos mall.

Super tasty shawarma, great service, portions are large and the sauces are spot on.

Great food, definitely a hidden gem and must try to find and not miss out!
