I had the chicken sandwich combo with the hottest level of spiciness. This was by far the hottest hot chicken I've found so far. If you want some good chicken give this place a try.
A first location of Houston’s hot chicken 🍗 has opened its doors in California- Cerritos ( hopefully many more to come) and it is absolutely delicious 😋.
We had chicken sandwich , the chicken salad , chef’s special chicken soup and chicken tenders with waffles .
My wife loved it so much that she ate mine too, and she is not a big fan of soups. The salad is very delicious and unique, a MUST TRY. The chicken sandwiches are definitely THE BEST IN TOWN.
You get to select how spicy you want the chicken, we got it mild which was perfect, not to spicy but not bland either. Their chicken is all natural and high quality food, not like the other places. You can taste the difference in quality. Perfectly seasoned chicken and so juicy and delicious 😋.
The portions are very generous too.
Also, you have to try their delicious MILKSHAKES , their are mouth watering delicious 😋.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are very fast and attentive. The restaurant manager is super nice and cool guy .
The atmosphere is very vibrant and inviting.
The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated with some cool and trendy art work.
Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!!!
I had the spicy chicken sandwich at the “spicy” level. It was a good chicken sandwich, mildly spicy and the coleslaw was good. I’m a big fan of crinkly fires, these could use some seasoning. The staff were friendly and were able to answer our questions as newcomers.
Chicken was moist and the slaw wasn’t too wet with a nice crunch and slight pickle. They don’t charge extra for pickles (which I think is a sin if they do). Food is on the sweeter side. The chicken has a honey butter base. The sauce that comes with the sandwich is slightly sweet. The waffle is sweet with specks of sugar. They also offer syrup. Spice level is good. If you eat spicy foods I’d start at spicy. Anything less and it’s super mild. Waffle sandwich on the secret menu is tasty and different then most other places. As a sandwich, the waffle is rather crumbly. They give you a decent amount of fries. Combo is fried and sandwich, no drinks.
Plenty is seating. Two clean unisex restrooms with plenty is soap and paper towels (which I appreciate since sandwiches can get messy). It’s nice to be able to wash your hands before and after. Paper towels are thick quality, much appreciated.
All in all, I really enjoyed my meal and if I’m in the area, I’ll definitely swing by again
