Shanxi Noodle House

I love this place for pork dumplings, fried leek cake, and their black pepper beef hand cut noodles. The noodles are flavorful and delicious. You can tell they are fresh too. The people are pretty nice, sometimes you get a person that doesn't speak English too well but I appreciate their patience with me. The restaurant looks really nice but I've always just ordered for take out, never eaten there. Their food is consistently delicious!

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, specialized in hand made noodles and shanxi style dishes. They have a see through kitchen for those interested in how their noodles are made. Warm atmosphere with cultural decors. Great tasty food.

If you like spicy food I'd go with the spicy and sour soup.

The best Northern noodle restaurant in Southern California. They even import their raw materials from northern China to keep it authentic. The noodles are homemade right before your eyes. Even the wrappers for the dumplings are made in the kitchen. Some of the grains that are common in China such as sorghum, millet, and oats are made into unique dishes. When they just opened, they had a staff person dedicated to shaving noodles. As you could see from the pictures, they've replaced him with a unique young lady that works harder and faster than any human I've ever seen.

Definitely coming back every time, including my lunch. My favorite by far is the peanut&sesame noodles. I love the extra sauce ????!!! Husband & I have a new date. ????????????
