Mari One offers traditional Taiwanes Foods. Foods are little bit pricey, compare other Chinese restaurants in this local area; but quality is good. Lunch special is good deal, you can choose fish and how to cooked. Recommend it.
I'm not Taiwanese but married to one, so I guess makes me at least half qualified:) but this was the best Taiwanese food in LA with great service. Reminded me the food I had Taiwan.
There's a lack of good Taiwanese restaurants in the City of Industry area. This place seemed to have filled that void as it has become one of our family's favorite go-to spots. In addition to Taiwanese food, they do serve other items such as yakitori and sashimi.
We've been here several times and have liked almost all of the dishes that we've ordered. Here are some of our favorites:
1. Stir-fried satay beef or lamb with water spinach
2. Spicy stinky tofu with preserved egg
3. Fried large intestine
4. Peeled chili chicken soup
Service is very hit-or-miss here. However that's pretty standard for Chinese restaurants. Don't expect them to come by routinely to check up on your table. They'll definitely take care of your dining needs if you get the attention of one of the wait staff.
There's a bunch of construction currently taking place at the intersection of Fullerton Rd and Gale Ave. Stoner Creek Rd is always busy as an alternative, so it might actually be less of a headache to drive to this restaurant coming from Azusa Ave.
Authentic Taiwanese taste, and it tastes good. Personally, I though the portions were small for the price. Same for the beverages. It’s a delicate balance. You should come try this place and judge it for yourself. Not going to bother reviewing the service because this is an Asian restaurant, so you should know better. But eventually we got everything we asked.
Was there during their soft opening period. Word of mouth already has this place full during regular dining hours. Reservations recommended. The menu is extensive and has Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese dishes. They have hot pot, yakitori, unagi don, fried oysters, etc. Great customer service, staff. All round pleasant experience.
