Gus's BBQ

Great new BBQ spot located in Downtown Claremont. We came here on a Friday evening around 5pm. The wait to sit outside For 4 people was 45 min. It’s best to get here early or make reservations, the wait time went up as the night progressed.
It was worth the wait. This was my second time dining here and my experience great. Service was incredible. We had several of the wait staff and management stop by and ask how everything was.
The food was amazing. I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries as my side.
Overall great experience, just get there early or make a reservation.

A favorite in South Pasadena, did not fail here! The cornbread came home for a next day treat, and it had all the levels of moist crumble and flavor you can imagine!

Sat at the bar, where the whole menu was available started with a bourbon flight and this time enjoyed a wonderful trip through California's craft spirits!

The fried chicken was a crisp, juicy, crunchy, and savory goodness all wrapped up into one!

The staff was attentive and promote a very genuine and pleasant experience!

Good food and great service! We have been several times since they opened and enjoyed our meal. Nice spot to have dinner and walk around downtown Claremont.

So this is the third time I've eaten here and each time it keeps getting better. I'm not sure if I'm figuring out the menu or if it's just this good. The pulled pork melts in your mouth, the baby back ribs fell off the bone, and the smoked sausage was beyond expectations. All of the side dishes that I've tried here have been tasty, and left me craving more. I'm glad they decided to open a place in Claremont.

We had a wonderful experience here. Our server Jasmin was very helpful and had great customer service. She helped us on what to order and made our experience here very enjoyable. Food was beyond amazing. Will definitely come back.
