Food was good but service was awful. We were taken care of by 4 different waitresses. It really didn’t make sense bc it was only 4pm and not rush hour. We asked for salsa and an extra glass of water multiple times. They never came. By the end of it we were sick of it. We also asked 2 different waitresses for our check so we could leave. It took forever. Honestly the food was great but I won’t be coming back bc the service is just that awful.
Tasty food with a fantastic patio, very worth a checking out. Tuesdays they have Taco Tuesday deals (pictured), and the rest of the week amazing entrees and drinks.
I'd say more but I think a pictures is worth a thousand words. So here's 3000 words.
*Update* They now have a wonderful lunch menu! Great deals, same great food!
I really enjoyed my experience at Casa Maguay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The decor and dining rooms are so nice. I really like the patio seating. Their margaritas are delicious and the food was impressive.
My party and I attended a "soft opening" for a pre-Mother's Day meal. The restaurant ambience was great, not crowded, and bustling with excited patrons. The menus were hard to read with the small type, but with the 9 of us we worked it out. Ordered a wide variety of items from the menu starting with appetizers and ending with dessert. The service was slow and our waiter seemed to not be familiar with the menu items, but we still enjoyed ourselves. If you like dining outdoors, check out the dining area with its cool lighting. A few things I noticed were the use of frozen avocado with a lot of our selections from ceviche to several entree items. While the meals were tasty, the over-use of salt was a turn off. The kiddos could not eat their meals which required an additional stop to accommodate them after our meal. I will give this restaurant another chance in the future and hope they have improved on seasoning their meal options. My suggestion to CM:
1. Serve a large party such as ours, a larger basket of chips and salsa.
2. Decrease the salt.
3. Substitue frozen avocado for fresh avocado or at least it out.
