Dia De Los Puercos

Visited this place on a recommendation because they served vegan options. In short: the food is fresh and very tasty, the service is warm and friendly.

I ordered with Rick who was very helpful, specially since I am pretty miserable at pronouncing Spanish words. His chef was also friendly and made sure that one of my orders had cheese, the other one didn’t, and that I had salsa to go. After ordering I made some small talk with Rick and turns out he is the owner. In my short conversation with him I can tell he takes pride in his creations and his business. He was very attentive to my questions about the vegan offerings and also informed me that their beans are made without lard and even the horchata is made with almond milk (instead of condensed milk that some restaurants do).

When I got back to the office we dug into our food. 3x tacos for each of us, one taco with nopales,
another with calabasitas, and one more with camote. Everything was fresh, crunch in the right places and tenderness where it needed to be! The spice level was just right, and the chips n salsa was a nice touch.

I will be returning here to try out more of their dishes with the vegan options.

I've been to their other location in Riverside and I was satisfied with their food from that beginning and this location doesn't disappoint either! They also have vegan options.

Crazy delicious Mexican food. I got the Flamin Hot Cheetos Tacos/Sopes, it filled me up!
